Details: Siskiyou Arts Council's Art on the Block & Musicians Swap Meet, in partnership with the Scott Valley Bank Summer Concert Series, is an event that was created to connect locals, visitors, and highly talented musicians and artists from all over the north state, in one of the North State's most breathtaking settings. Located on the 400 block of N. Mt. Shasta Blvd, Friday & Saturday August 17th & 18th, Art on the Block has many features designed to offer something for everyone. Friday August 17th, there will be artists and music vendors along the block starting at 1:00 p.m. There will be live music throughout the day, and activities for children, including the Siskiyou Arts Bus from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Friday, then 10:00 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
