Looking for a great place to celebrate the 4th of July without all the congestion of the big city? Search no further than Redding, CA. With the largest fireworks display in Northern California Redding is prepared to celebrate 237 years of our nation's independence. Enjoy Redding all weekend long this fourth of July!

On July 3rd kick off your Independence Day celebrations early this year at "Anderson Explodes." The early bird fireworks show is just 20 minutes south of Redding at the Shasta District Fair Grounds. Fireworks blast off beginning at 10 pm.

On July 4th in honor of the birthday of the United States of America the Civic Auditorium will host the "Freedom Festival." Prepare yourselves for an all day birthday party like no other. Savor for food vendors, play games, enjoy live entertainment, and bask in the glow of the largest fireworks display in Northern California! Admission is free but arriving early to secure a seat is highly recommended. Make your way to the Civic Auditorium starting at 3 pm for food and drinks. Live music begins at 5 pm and the fireworks show begins at 10 pm. Happy Fourth of July!
