Take the Redding Adventure Challenge

Let's break away from the norm and try a new adventure. Or how about 14? With the Adventure Challenge -- Redding edition, we'll do all of the work for you on coming up with an adventure. All you have to do is scratch, choose your adventure and post about it on social media.

Yes, it really is THAT easy. The best part, we'll reward you for your adventures when you rack up points. We can't wait for you to learn about Redding and all there is to do in our wonderful city and the surrounding areas!


Participants acquire a Redding Edition Adventure Challenge, which includes a bonus coupon card for 12 local businesses. Passports can be picked up for FREE during September 2019 by coming into the Redding Convention & Visitors Bureau located at 1448 Pine Street, Redding, CA 96001. Starting Oct. 1, 2019, they can be purchased for $20. Note: Coupons expire 12/31/19

1. Participants complete one or both challenges and post photos on social media with #VisitRedding to earn points. 

2. Each Edition (Fall/Winter & Spring/Summer) features 7 scratchers with 2 adventure challenges (one free/one paid) under each scratcher.

3. Each passport is good for 2 people. While more can take part in the challenges, prizes will be limited to 2 per passport. Details on passport.

4. Participants complete one or both challenges and post photos on social media with #VisitRedding to earn points. 

5. When all challenges are complete, participants bring passport to redemption center for verification, the passport is marked and prize options reviewed.

6. Prize options are given to participants based on verified challenges completed—the more challenges completed, the more points earned. Prize values increase with point earnings. Note: Prize Redemption Ends 3/31/2020
