Sensory Hour is an exclusive event for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders or developmental challenges. Our goal is to make Sensory Hour a comfortable environment for children with a variety of sensory differences. Our trained staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer any questions you have and if necessary, direct you to a quiet space that provides a chance to cool down and take a break. Admission is free but pre-registration is required and space is limited.
To register, please call 530-242-3108.
Due to current restrictions, the indoor museum and Mill Building are closed. Outdoor spaces accessible during Sensory Hour include: Forest Adventure and Babe’s Corral play areas, Wildlife Woods, and Stimpel Creek water feature. The park will open to the general public at 10am but participants are invited to stay at the park for the remainder of the day.
