Stand Up Paddle Boarding

SUP lately? Redding can’t get enough of it! It’s hard to drive through town on a sunny day (there are 300/year, by the way) and not see a handful of vehicles with stand up paddle boards strapped on top or sticking out the back window.Calm waters like Whiskeytown Lake are great for novices and for SUP yoga, while the Sacramento River, running through the center of town, can make sure you keep up with the currents as they pass under the beautiful Sundial Bridge. If you've never tried it, consider taking a guided SUP tour from a friendly and knowledgable local expert. Guided tours are great for families or groups who want to make memories and break the routine. If you prefer to paddle solo, explore coves and inlets when you SUP Shasta Lake, or just paddle around Manzanita Lake in beautiful Lassen Volcanic National Park. Bring your own gear or rent from one our local enthusiasts- sup to you!
